Every morning at Mohre Public School, the youngest learners enter with wide eyes and tiny feet, ready for a new adventure. In our Little Stars preschool class, learning is full of laughter, play, and wonder.
The day begins with cheerful greetings and songs during morning circle time. Children sing rhymes, learn the days of the week, and share their “good morning” with friends. After circle time, the fun begins! With colourful toys, learning blocks, art tools, and storybooks, every corner of the classroom is a place to explore.
Today, the theme is “My Garden.” The teacher tells a short story about a tiny seed growing into a flower. The children listen closely, eyes sparkling. Then, they become little gardeners — drawing plants, learning flower names, and even planting real seeds in cups. Through this, they discover nature, colours, and how things grow.
Next comes free play, where some children build towers, others pretend to cook in the play kitchen, and a few flip through picture books on the rug. These moments help them grow in confidence, creativity, and friendship.
Before lunch, there’s time for movement and music — dancing to fun songs, stretching like animals, or marching in a tiny parade. The room is filled with joy and energy!
